No — that's the point of Carolina Cap Company. We sell directly to the companies that wear and give the caps: breweries, builders, golf courses, farms, schools, events. You work straight with the factory, with nobody in the middle.

Our standard minimum is 144 caps. Your per-cap price improves as quantity grows, with breaks at 288, 576, 1,500, 2,500, and 5,000. If you're between breaks, ask — sometimes a few more caps is the smarter buy.

Most orders ship in 21 days from sewout approval. Start to finish — first idea to boxes at your door — a typical program runs 4 to 6 weeks, depending on how quickly the mockup and proof rounds go on your end. Complex details like custom washes or molded parts can add time, and we'll tell you up front if they will.

Vector art (AI, EPS, or PDF) is ideal, but a clean high-resolution PNG or JPG works fine for most logos. Send whatever you have to art@carolinacap.com — our art team preps it for production and flags anything that won't stitch cleanly at cap scale.

Before production starts, you get a pre-production proof showing exactly what we'll build — with fabrics, threads, snaps, and labels matched to exact PMS colors. If your brand blue is PMS 301, your caps will be PMS 301. Your approved proof is the blueprint for the whole run, so read it carefully: spelling, colors, placement, everything.

Everything under one roof: flat embroidery, 3D puff, woven patches, leather patches, sublimation, screen print, appliqué, ropes, custom inside labels and seam tape, and distressing. Decoration can go nearly anywhere — front, sides, back, visor, under-visor, even the closure.

Yes — three ways. Your free concept mockup shows the cap before you spend anything. Build a Cap lets you design one live in your browser. Cap Studio generates concept looks you can send us as a starting point. Then the PMS-matched proof locks in every detail before production.

Because we embroider the panels flat, before the cap is assembled. A finished cap is curved and springy and fights the embroidery machine; a flat panel takes clean, precise stitches. It's not fancier equipment — it's physics, and it's only possible when the embroidery and the sewing happen under the same roof. Ours do.

Because every cap is built to order, and a one-size price list would have to hide that in bundles and averages. Instead, your quote prices every component on its own line, in plain dollars — base cap, each decoration location, trim, labels, tariff at cost, shipping. You keep what matters and cut what doesn't. One consequence of flat-panel production worth knowing: second and third decoration locations cost surprisingly little here. The more decorated your cap, the stronger our position.

Custom production runs carry a standard ±3% quantity variance — we over-produce and hand-inspect rather than ever ship you short. Any extras ship to you and are billed at your same per-cap price, never a premium.

We keep your full spec on file — art, digitized embroidery, PMS matches, every construction detail. A reorder is one email: "run it again." No new setup, no re-proofing unless you're changing something, and the caps match last season's exactly.

Shipping is its own plain-dollar line on your quote, delivered to your door. You get a tracking number the day your order ships, along with a delivery estimate, so you're never left wondering where your caps are.
